This vision trip is designed for college students who are seriously considering long-term ministry in Japan. Throughout the trip, participants will meet with missionaries from various mission agencies, visit local ministries, and attend a Japanese church in Tokyo. The goal is to provide firsthand exposure to the spiritual and cultural landscape of Japan, helping students discern whether God is calling them to serve there long-term.
Ministry Activities
MISSIONARIES/AGENCIES
Participants will have opportunities to connect with missionaries from various agencies, gaining firsthand insight into life and ministry in Japan.
CHURCH
Participants will attend a local Japanese church, which may be either fully Japanese-speaking or bilingual.
IMMERSION FOCUS
Cultural days are built into the trip to give participants a deeper understanding of life in Japan. Activities may include guided visits to areas such as red-light districts for the purpose of ministry awareness, engagement with weekday ministries in Tokyo, and exploring the city and its culture.

Japan is considered one of the most unreached people groups in the world, with less than 1% of the population identifying as Christian. While Japan is a highly developed and prosperous nation, many people have limited exposure to the gospel.
There is no widespread persecution of Christianity, and missionary visas are available, making Japan one of the most open countries to missions.
Yet many have never heard or understood the message of Christ.
