What's happening this spring?

Spring 2025 was a busy season in the life of Glow!


Glow Kids led by Rachel McEachron, has been steady this Spring! The children and moms learn about Jesus through stories, games and crafting. The Easter Gathering was a special yet busy time where the gospel was shared with all in attendance! Glow Kids meets twice a month in both Fayetteville and Newnan in effort to provide convenient locations for the growing Japanese community. We are grateful for the faithful presence of Kathy Baker, a strong support of Glow Kids. 


Glow + Learn has completed a full year of offering both ESL and Devotional time. We have found this to be a great way to grow our community. The ESL time is led by Melody Jones who has created a fun and interactive experience that both builds confidence and teaches English. G&L meets 3 times a month at The Bridge in Peachtree City, GA. We are excited to meet this need for our guests in addition to offering a 30-minute devotional led by Julie Schaffer, the Glow + Learn Coordinator.


Fiona Thiessen, the 1:1 Coordinator hosted a 1:1 gathering in April for all the English speaking partners. It was a needed opportunity to share how partnerships are growing and hearts are opening. She also hosted a special Passover meal leading up to Easter for those in the Glow community who are seekers and believers. It was very well received! We currently have around 20 1:1 partnerships. 


Andy Lam leads the monthly prayer gathering every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 8:40 pm. He continues to be a faithful presence serving when he can in Glow Kids and attending events all while working hard to learn Japanese! 




The Leadership team along with the support of several ministry leaders and even women from the Glow community worked together to host our first event called, “Experience Japan,” with LifeShape, a Chick-fil-a organization that focuses on providing missional opportunities for their employees. Guests in attendance learned about the spiritual state of Japan, enjoyed Japanese food and heard from a panel of current Glow guests about what it’s like to live in America as well as attend Glow. This is our first of many events! 


Glow on the Go Fundraiser Update:


We have raised $1580! We only have to raise $920!
